Q. What is a medical concierge?
A. It is a service performed for a client matching medical bills, statements and notices are matched to insurance paid statements (EOB- Explanation of Benefits) as well as the client’s payments. This helps the client understand and reconcile any outstanding balances.

Q. What if I have been double billed?
A. Our analysis of your statements will uncover this double billing and we will note this in our written report to you, our client. To see a sample of an analysis click here. (All information in the sample is ficticious)

Q. Is there anything else your firm will do for an incorrect bill?
A. Yes, if the client would like, for an additional fee, we will write a letter to the medical/service provider, or billing firm with appropriate and supporting documentation. We will outline the discrepancy and request a billing adjustment. This letter will be done in the name of the client.

Q. Can you contact the firm by phone on my behalf?
A. No, at this time we do not offer that service. (This service will be available after April 1, 2010.)

Q. Can you give me advice regarding my rights?
A. No, we cannot give you legal advice. We are not attorneys.

Q. Why should I pay for this service? I can do this myself.
A. Of course you can but to be honest do you have the time? Do you want to make the time? Do you have the patience? With any service the ultimate goal should always be to make the life of the client a little easier and a little less stressful.

Q. What will your firm need from me?
A. Every document related to the date or date(s) of service in question.

Q. I am embarrassed to say my documents are a mess in fact some envelopes I didn’t even open.
A. That is okay, we understand that is the current disorganization that is preventing you from getting a handle on the statements and billings. We can sort it out for you.

Q. I am worried about my documents being in the hands of strangers.
